About Us

Volunteering Wairarapa aims to 'make volunteering easy' for everyone in the Wairarapa.

The bread and butter of our work is making connections between potential volunteers and community groups with roles to fill. We work with groups to list their roles on our system, and with volunteers to match them to the best roles for them.

Volunteering Wairarapa is a registered charity, founded in 2014 as an offshoot of the Wairarapa Community Centre, where we have our office. We became an independent entity in 2017.
