Volunteering Wairarapa was founded in 2014, as a part of the Wairarapa Community Centre Trust. In 2017 we became an independent organisation, and are now a registered charity. We are the 19th Volunteer Centre established throughout New Zealand, and members of the Volunteer Centre Network Aotearoa and Volunteering New Zealand.

We support volunteers and volunteer-involving groups throughout the Wairarapa. We’re here to make volunteering easy, as a central point volunteers to connect with multiple groups and see the diverse range of volunteering opportunities available.

Our office

Our office is staffed by our Coordinator, Donna Robinson. Donna came to us as a volunteer and is now in charge of our Masterton office.

Our board

Our board is comprised of up to 9 volunteer members who want to advance the volunteering sector, promote volunteering and guide our organisation into the future.
