A Summer Holidays Space Science Pop-up

The Wairarapa Space Science Centre is holding a pop-up from 19 December until the end of school holidays from 10am to 4pm in the old Carterton Post Office on the corner of High Street South and Holloway Street.
They are looking for volunteers to help them with their visitor experience. No prior knowledge is required, and training is provided.
The organisation behind this pop-up is The New Zealand Astrobiology Network which is a charitable trust promoting education using space as a hook to inspire communities, families and anyone interested in co-creating a better future for our planet.
They want to create a unique reason for visitors to come to the Wairarapa by creating a knowledge tourism destination in Carterton, where tourists come to learn about the night sky, importance of dark sky, astrobiology and space sciences.
